Job Description

As an Oral Surgeon, you play a vital role in enhancing the oral health and overall well-being of patients through specialized surgical interventions. Your advanced skills and dedication contribute to the success of comprehensive dental care.

Responsibilities:

Surgical Consultations:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the need for oral surgical interventions. Discuss treatment options, risks, and benefits with patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring informed decision-making.

Surgical Procedures:

Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including but not limited to tooth extractions, crown lengthening and sinus lifts. Expertise in dental implant surgery, including the planning and placement of dental implants.

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders:

Diagnose and treat TMJ disorders through surgical and non-surgical interventions. Provide solutions for patients experiencing jaw pain, clicking, and limited jaw movement.

Collaboration with Dental Team:

Work closely with general dentists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Communicate effectively with the dental team to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.

Preoperative and Postoperative Care:

Provide thorough preoperative and postoperative care instructions to patients. Monitor and manage postoperative complications, ensuring optimal healing and recovery.

Patient Education:

Educate patients on the nature of their oral surgical procedures and guide them through the recovery process. Address patient questions and concerns related to oral surgery.

Qualifications:

Valid DoH Specialist License Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery program. Proficiency in surgical techniques and a strong understanding of oral anatomy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information to patients. Commitment to patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month
