Key Responsibilities
Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including surgical extractions, impacted third molar removal, implants, and management of facial trauma
Administer and monitor local anesthesia and sedation within scope of practice
Develop and implement comprehensive surgical treatment plans
Coordinate care with general dentists, specialists, and support staff
Ensure proper pre-operative assessment and post-operative care and follow-up
Maintain accurate and timely surgical and medical records
Adhere strictly to infection control, safety standards, and clinical protocols
Educate patients on surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and post-operative care
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor of Dental Medicine or equivalent
Specialist
OMFS DOH License
Minimum
3-5 years of specialist clinical experience
(preferred)
Proven competence in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
Experience handling various surgical cases
Familiarity with digital imaging, CBCT, and electronic medical records
