Position Overview
The Oracle SQL Business Analyst - Dubai, UAE will support banking operations by developing SQL solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in system integration projects. The role combines technical expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with strong business analysis skills to deliver accurate reporting, regulatory support, and process improvements.

What You'll Do

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle databases
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and reporting for banking operations
• Assist in implementing compliance solutions for Basel III, FATCA, AML, KYC, and central bank requirements
• Ensure data traceability and audit readiness across systems
• Work with wealth banking systems such as Prospero and Avaloq
• Participate in UAT, SIT, and regression testing for system integration projects
• Create BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and process documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with regulatory and business objectives

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT or business analysis within banking
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting tools such as OBIEE
• Familiarity with retail, corporate, and digital banking products and services
• Experience with compliance and financial reporting standards
• Skilled in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
