Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated

Oracle ERP Administrator

to join our team in

Doha, Qatar

. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and performance optimization of Oracle ERP applications and databases. This is a

full-time, 3-year contract position

, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle server software and related products Start and stop Oracle ERP applications and services Monitor key application components including OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc. Perform service bounces (Apache, OACore, OAFM) when required Develop and implement backup and recovery policies and procedures Design and maintain Oracle database environments Manage database security (users, roles, and privileges) Provide 24x7 support on a rotational basis Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; liaise with development teams as needed Interface with Oracle Support for escalation and issue resolution Manage patching, updates, and version control of ERP environments Monitor and tune application and database performance Perform system cloning (e.g., cloning DEV and TEST from PROD)

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in Oracle ERP Administration

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Oracle database administration and performance tuning Experience with backup/recovery, patch management, and cloning procedures Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and scripting

Soft Skills:

Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP, OCE) Exposure to Oracle Fusion Middleware components Experience with cloud or hybrid ERP environments
