DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads cross-functional teams in the identification of business requirements, workshops, functional and process design, prototyping, testing, and training.
• Prepares technical requirements for development of EPM solutions.
• Designs and executes long-term EPM system solutions for accounting close, consolidations, reconciliations, tax, and financial reporting.
• Designs and execute long-term EPM system solutions for Financial Planning and Analysis covering modeling, planning, and reporting needs.
• Assesses new releases, potential new systems, and technical tool options within the EPM, providing guidance on the most relevant solution for each business scenario.
• Provides subject matter expertise in EPM functionality and utilization for complex business needs.
• Leads EPM environment problem-solving, tracking, communication, root cause identification, and solution implementation.
• Consults with all levels of leadership and fulfills the liaison role for Finance and Accounting with Information Technology to manage and recommend EPM capabilities and enhancements.
• Creates a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the project participants, while meeting project expectations and respecting the work-life balance of team members; provides candid, meaningful feedback; and keeps leadership informed of progress and issues.
• Prepares and maintains documentation around system design and functionalities.
• Plans training programs for users and administrators on EPM system functionality and changes.
• Mentors the EPM Developer and EPM Systems Analysts.
• Continuously improves data quality and integrity within the EPM and links with other internal systems.
• Understands and complies with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to ones job duties. This includes but is not limited to; completes compliance training and adheres to internal procedures and controls; reports any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and reports any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field of study, required.
• 12 -15 years of experience of implementing and managing EPM projects.
• Experience and broad subject matter expertise with Oracle EPM or Hyperion in functional and technical configuration with emphasis on core financial business processes such as reporting to close, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, financial analytics, and internal/external reporting, required.
• Experience in partnering with teams to create and improve process methodologies, required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and SmartView analytical skills, required.
• Proven foundation in EPM dimensionality and metadata design, required.
• Proven knowledge of financial systems, accounting, and business processes, required.
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
