ORACLE DBA:

Description The position holder will be responsible for Administration, Performance tuning, Capacity planning, management for all QNB DB systems that include Oracle e-Business Suite (ERP), Oracle Golden Gate and all other IT database systems. Duties and responsibilities Install and Upgrade Oracle database and Corresponding Application Tools. Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after working hours Requirement and experience Degree in Computer Science or Technical Related Field 6 years of experience as Oracle DBA or similar role Experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN,EXADATA,OGG and Engineered systems Experience in Linux/Unix Operating system. Database Systems Administration Techniques understanding of DB Performance tuning on various Operating Systems, good troubleshooting skills, Database Migration techniques Attention to details and analytical thinking. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills.
