Job description:

Maintain all Oracle databases on the cloud and apply database and application patches.
Design and implement backup policies to ensure data protection and successful Oracle database backup/recovery procedure.
Have a vision and make plans for any future upgrade.
Provide suggestions for enhancing the Database performance and tuning.
Prepare/Review and update Operations Procedures.
Assessment of overall database performance and identifying all areas of enhancements and applying database best practice designs.
Monitoring database tasks like storage and resources utilization. Troubleshooting all Oracle database technical problems and issuesto ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
Ensure proper and successful Oracle database backup/recovery procedure.
Handling all Service requests open with the software vendor (e.g., Oracle Corporation).
Providing regular support for Oracle Application Server housekeeping and regular maintenance activities.
Monitoring Oracle Linux tasks like storage and resources utilization. Troubleshootingall technical problems and issues.

Qualifications:

Ability to multitask and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
Experienced in deploying Oracle Data Guard for multiple sites.
4+ years of experience as Oracle and SQL server DBA and Oracle Application.
