Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Experience: 4yrs
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design Oracle APEX solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Oracle APEX Development: Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications, including the creation of interactive reports, interactive grid, and function-based reports, forms, and dashboards.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies such as HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS etc.
- Beneficial to have previous experience developing Oracle Forms and converting them to APEX.
- Proficient in creating dynamic and easy to use Email Templates.
- Best to have knowledge of working with XML and JSON based objects.
- Experienced in creating custom region templates. Must be aware of PL/SQL API\xe2\x80\x99s. Must be experienced in oracle apex versions 20.2 \xe2\x80\x93 23.1.
- Database Development: Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, and create PL/SQL packages, triggers, and procedures. Oracle 12c or above database experience. Good to have expertise in Dynamic SQL and Advance PL/SQL.
- Integration: Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other systems and databases using web services, RESTful APIs, and custom connectors.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within Oracle APEX
- applications and database queries. A passion for writing well-documented, high-quality, and maintainable code.
- Security: Implement security best practices in Oracle APEX applications, including user authentication and authorization.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of Oracle APEX applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle APEX applications, database
- designs, and custom code.
- Code Review: Review and mentor developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with Oracle APEX and database technology trends, recommending their adoption when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Oracle APEX developer, with a strong command of Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Oracle APEX certifications (e.g., Oracle APEX Developer Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Oracle database development, including schema design and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.
