Responsibilities
This is a senior level role and as an Ops Geoscience Specialist your duties will include:
+ To provide petrophysical support for Cased Hole jobs,
+ Basic and advanced interpretation based on the local business model.
+ Act as focal point for Cased Hole activities (Operations) and assist in growing businesses (Sales).
+ Follow up, evaluation and data integration for Cased hole logging jobs, as well integrity, cement evaluation,PLT & ILT (production logging), PNC.
+ Collaborate with customer geologist/drilling engineers/Petrophysicist to provide solutions based on the interpretation of the data and models developed.
+ Works with supervisor to ensure projects are completed in a timely & accurate manner.
+ Relies on experience and judgment to plan & accomplish goals.
+ Processing, QC an interpretation of Cased hole logs.
Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years in a similar role as aGeoscience/Log Analyst
Experience of Wireline/cased hole logging essential
Geology and Petrphysical knowledge is required
Fluent in English both verbal and written
Strong communication skills
Team player
Degree in Petroleum Engineering
