Job Description
- Responsible to Cut Slag Skull / Molten Steel which generated due the melting process failures, casting failures, Ladle waste, by using lancing pipes,1/2"wire breaded hose with a flow control valve and a gas by using to wear all the equipment’s PPE.
- Beware of sparks, Use proper goggle and visor, Keep away all flammables like oil, Grease, fabrics, wood and paper from the processing area.
- Daily Check and inspect cutting equipment condition prior operation. e.g lance pipe, hose pipe, gas cylinder, control valve, PPE and report if equipment damage or breakdown to shift foreman.
- Follow safety standard procedures of skull cutter, follow Site Safety Observation SOP’s,
- Follow Company Safety rules regulations & use PPE while working in the plant.
- To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
- To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
- To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
- To attend safety trainings planned for them.
- Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
