Description: SALARY: $19 per hour SHIFT: M-F 7a.m. - 3:30p.m. SUMMARY: The T9 Operator is responsible for the operation of the reactors and mixing tanks by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, and transport load to designated area. Operate Millathane processing machine; check weights, temperatures, flow rates, and pressures on all components. Correctly pack and label Millathane products with correct lot numbers and Mooney viscosities. Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying types of ingredients. Mix ingredients in proper sequence and proportions. Maintain the desired control over time, temperature, pressure, color, weight, or other variables. Perform blending, filtration and drying operations. Maintain batch sheets, log books, or other records as required. Fill Super Sacks, Drums, Pails, Totes, or other containers as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Aid supervisors and lead operator by troubleshooting to identify and correct production difficulties. Use Epicor computer software for inventory requirements. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training. To be classified Production Operator IV, a Production Operator II must have successfully completed three months of supervised operation followed by three months of competent solo operation in the following production areas: T-9 and Adhesives. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid driver's license. Forklift experience preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and Quality System Documentation. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with two significant figures. Ability to perform these operations in relation to weight, volume, area, and length. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed tasks or operations, given written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Employees in this position are required to wear a full face respirator and comply with TSE Respiratory Protection Program and Title 29 CFR 1910.134. Examples of these conditions include beards or sideburns that interfere with the facepiece seal or valve function, certain dentures or dental conditions, facial deformities (e.g., scars, deep skin creases, prominent cheekbones), or the use of jewelry or headgear that projects under and interferes with the facepiece seal.
