Job Opportunity for Operator Archive Digitization

Role & Responsibilities: Support in the professional preservation, digitization and archiving for all types of tapes and films in accordance with the specified criteria. Assist in operating archive related equipment (such as scanners, tape instruments, Sondor audio capture, editing system and non-linear editing system (NLE), as appropriate, in order to complete archiving tasks in a timely manner. Conduct tape / film cleaning work to ensure proper preservation and restoration. Contribute to identifying relevant errors and taking measures to correct them in a timely manner. Account for the information and data required for the team to prepare relevant reports on progress in the work. Report any related abnormal issues or problems that arise in the TV archive to the line manager to take the necessary actions. Education & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Media Technology, General Studies or relevant field. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Arabic an advantage. Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge. Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions. Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects. Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions. Strict attention to detail. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel). Excellent communicator - able to understand instructions and communicate effectively. Knowledge of local, state, and federal property and safety regulations. Strong mathematical and technical skills.
