Required skills, qualifications and experience
Familiarity with the following:
- Air and missile defense
- Operational and tactical C2
- Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
- Modeling and Simulation systems
- Tactical data links, preferably Link-16 and Link-11
- Secure and reliable networks and network management
- Integrating with sensors and weapons, including occasional troubleshooting and reverse engineering
- System engineering skills with an emphasis on software-intensive systems and system of systems integration
- Cyber security and multiple security enclaves
- Fixed and mobile command centers, including supporting coalition / expeditionary operationsFamiliar with any of the following operational disciplines:
- Strategy and Air Defense Operations
- Familiarity with how national air defense is planned and executed
- Knowledge of the air operations planning cycle, including utilization of
- Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (\'SR)
- Knowledge of tactical air defense, including how air tasking orders are used
- Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC)
- Knowledge of the air defense planning cycle
- Familiarity with integrating Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) into the planning cycle
- Familiarity with communications (datalink) planning
- Experience with DIAMONDShield, TBMCS, or similar
- Command and Reporting Center (CRC)
- Knowledge of tactical air defense, including threat evaluation & weapon allocation
- Familiarity with ATO processing
- Experience with Solipsys MSCT and TDF
- Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
