Incumbent is responsible for all functions in the shift related to stock accounting. Supports Shift Super intendant in the shift for documentation and coordination of all communication.
Principal Accountabilities
Product Accounting. Updates product movement activities such as Imports, Exports, Blends, Inter tank transfers, sale, product returns, truck flushing and calibration of flow meters in product accounting systems. Updates orders for blends and barge loads. Under supervision of Shift Superintendent, prepares tanks\' Stop/Expected dips for product movement and monitors the same in SAAB Radar system during operation. Assist Inventory controller in month end closing of inventory systems in EIL Jebel Ali and Fujairah. Daily Closing stock & Updating Sales. Compares issues between flow meters and respective service tanks. Updating daily stock and performs variation analysis against sales and issues. Carries out daily bulk stock ledger variation analysis. Investigates the causes of abnormal loss/gain. Takes corrective actions in coordination with Shift Superintendent. Reports to Inventory Controller for any higher variations with initial investigation. Tanker Berth Booking & Documentation Responsible for booking of tanker berths as per the schedule given by the Shift Superintendent. Responsible for maintaining the berth booking status (including all other berth users booking). Collection of all documents for the export tankers, checking & forwarding the same on time to customers. Preparation of discharge performance required for analyzing demurrage claim. Data Collection/Management Preparation of tanker movements and handling data for operational analysis. Generation of daily, weekly & monthly customer required reports ( as per contracts or as per special request) to the customer Maintaining the data record of all shipping documents and product movement outturns: loading, receipt or blending activities. Training: Trains operating staff in product accounting system. Communication Coordinator - ERP: Acts as communications coordinator in emergencies. Relief/Support Duty Provide relief duty for Inventory Controller. Support Inventory Controller for periodical reporting. Support Shift Superintendent in shift communication and documentation. Safety & IMS Complies with all Safety and IMS policies. Maintains high level of emergency preparedness. Follows EHS instructions. Stops/reports any unsafe acts. Adheres to laid down quality control procedures. Monitors EMS programs and maintains required quality records.

Minimum Requirements Minimum Educational, Professional and Vocational qualifications required; Qualification & Experience: Diploma holder, preferably in commerce. Computer Skills: Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Office. Language & Writing Skills: Good English skills. Minimum years of relevant work experience: At least a minimum of 3 years of Oil Terminal/ Oil Refinery experience is required preferable in oil inventory accounting. Level and type of behavioural and functional competencies required: Effective communication and educational skills. Comprehensive technical reporting, recording and writing skills Analysing and problem solving skills.
