This position is for a seasoned professional individual contributor in Metrics, Analytics and Reporting, who works independently with minimal supervision. Advises business leaders regarding reporting requirements to report developments, analyze outputs and spot trends to assist the business with planning and management of sales and operations activities. Conducts complex analyses and adds additional commentary on regular and ad-hoc reports as input into management processes. Works on special projects for the business, as needed. What can you expect You will be an essential part of a highly skilled team by performing quality reviews for multiple processes within the Account Coordination Department, with a focus on the accuracy of tasks and documents. You will work closely with the management team to identify trends, process improvements and improving efficiencies to enhance the impact on process, quality and effectiveness. You'll attend a robust training program of class room based, side by side, and on the job training in order to understand the requirements of the Account Coordinator position. We will count on you to: Summarizes and communicates key trends (including gap analysis) and potential issues utilizing knowledge of insurance and data handling to support business improvement and business strategy projects. Reviews analytical reports (often across team boundaries) of moderate complexity to allow fact-based, predictive and 'what-if' decision-making. Determines appropriate ''look at feel'' formatting needs for data based on knowledge of customer needs using appropriate presentation styles. Communicates complex key insights in written and verbal form and advises business leaders regarding their reporting requirements . Leads moderately complex projects within the department, working with colleagues within Business Analytics and IT to develop and continuously improve the reporting infrastructure, including data housing, data modeling, report performance, and report design and delivery tools. Delegates incoming work to junior colleagues to ensure that is handled effectively, promptly (in line with Key Performance Indicators and other deadlines) and accurately so that the needs of internal and external customers are consistently met and exceeded. Demonstrates a high level of adaptability to meet changing business requirements. Works regularly across team boundaries to deliver results on key department and business initiatives. Suggests improvements to departmental activities based on knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements such as compliance standards, health and environmental policy, and department- and operating company-specific procedures and guidelines. What you need to have: 5+ years experience in a professional service environment Previous experience in quality analysis Bachelor's Degree What makes you stand out Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. You'll mainly use Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, and Outlook organization is essential. Exceptional organizational skills. You'll need to independently manage your workload and identify priorities while keeping in close communicate with your Supervisor. Strong communication skills. You'll effectively use written and oral communication to correspond with other Marsh colleagues. Process improvement minded. You'll assist with various pilots within the department and system rollout testing Team Player. You'll assist Account Coordinators during high volume and/or when business needs arise.
