Job Description

Purpose of the Role

:

To lead and control all project execution activities across workshop and site. The Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating engineers, aligning manpower and production, ensuring timely delivery, and solving execution problems across all active projects.

Key Responsibilities

:

1.

Project Execution Oversight

Own the daily performance of all active jobs from fabrication to installation Assign and monitor project engineers across sites and workshop Conduct planning and internal reviews for all ongoing jobs

Site & Workshop Coordination

Coordinate daily with Production Engineer and Workshop Supervisor Allocate jobs based on site timelines and fabrication readiness Control workshop output planning and material priorities Deploy manpower based on urgency and project commitments
3.

Project Planning & Handover

Review project scope, client commitments, and material requirements

Coordinate closely with sales, estimation, and billing teams for smooth handovers

4.

Team Leadership & Control

Supervise and mentor engineers, site supervisors, and workshop team Enforce discipline, quality, and communication standards Hold weekly engineer review meetings to assess progress Maintain a performance-focused environment with accountability
5.

Reporting

Submit weekly project progress (by % complete, manpower, issues) Coordinate with QS on billing stages and variation claims Maintain and update job tracking dashboards

Requirements

:

Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Minimum 7 years' experience in steel fabrication and construction project operations Strong team leadership, planning, and execution skills Excellent communication and reporting abilities Proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of project tracking tools preferred Language: English (mandatory), Hindi/Arabic

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month

Experience:

Steel Fabrication and Construction Project Operations: 7 years (Preferred)
