Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Branch / Operations Manager to lead and manage branch operations within the Scientific & Laboratory Solutions industry. This role requires strong expertise in operations, finance, logistics, and commercial coordination, along with the ability to work closely with international offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end branch operations including logistics, inventory, procurement, local purchases, banking, and administration Oversee accounting and financial activities such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, vendor payments, and petty cash management Handle commercial documentation including quotations, invoices, import/export records, and customer correspondence Coordinate with internal teams across Nigeria and international offices to ensure smooth operations and alignment Support sales and technical teams for client delivery and after-sales activities Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, service providers, and banking partners Prepare and submit regular operational and financial reports to head office Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or branch management roles Experience in scientific, laboratory, technical, or industrial supplies is highly preferred Prior exposure to structured markets such as India, UAE, or similar regions is an advantage Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Valid driving license is an added advantage
