Job Description



The Operations Manager Poultry will oversee the commercial operations for the poultry business unit in the EURAM region. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction across all commercial processes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Location: Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EURAM)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure efficient and effective commercial processes in the poultry business unit in the EURAM region.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Manage the daily operations of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment of commercial strategies with business objectives.

Continuously monitor and evaluate commercial performance to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate changes.

Develop and implement training programs to ensure all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively and safely.

Ensure effective inventory management and control to meet customer demand and minimize waste.

Participate in the development of new products and processes, providing commercial input to ensure feasibility and scalability.

Experience with the MAXX CRM system is required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial operations management.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial strategies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
