Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced

Operations Manager

to oversee and optimize our freight forwarding operations in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across air, sea, and land.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations (Sea export), documentation filing ensuring timely and accurate shipments Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement Monitor and improve operational workflows, KPIs, and service quality standards Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and company policies Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Resolve operational issues and customer complaints with speed and professionalism Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to align operations with client expectations Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for shipments, costs, and performance metrics Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field 4-6 years of experience in freight forwarding operations (preferably international) Strong knowledge of UAE customs regulations and international shipping procedures Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
