Job Purpose

To oversee, manage, and ensure the effective delivery of all hard and soft facilities management services across assigned sites or portfolios. The Operations Manager will lead FM teams, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of all FM services including MEP, civil, housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, security, and waste management. Manage and monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and statutory regulations. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, and operational procedures to ensure asset reliability and longevity. Supervise site teams and service partners, providing direction, performance feedback, and training where necessary. Review and analyze operational data, budgets, and reports to identify improvement areas and cost-saving opportunities. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met and continuously improved. Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and providing regular operational updates. Support contract mobilization, resource planning, and transition management. Manage procurement and inventory of materials, tools, and spare parts as required. Oversee incident management, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of service excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 7-10 years' experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in an operations management role. Proven experience in managing both hard and soft services within commercial, residential, or mixed-use portfolios.
