Newrest is recruiting an Operations Manager Facilities Management / FM Business Developer for its subsidiary in Oman. NEWREST WACASCO is the subsidiary of the NEWREST Group in the Sultanate of Oman. With 100+ sites all across the country, 50,000 meals served per day by our 1,900 employees, we are one of the most senior catering company in the country. Under the supervision of the Operation Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks: MISSIONS: Ensures compliance requirements, maintenance responsibilities and care of client's site. Inspect client's site routinely to guarantee that all services are operating at the highest standard Financial performance: Prepare and optimize operating budget. Manage capital projects in a timely, cost-effective, at budgeted levels. Manage the operational team of maintenance: mechanical, electrical, cold, gardening, housekeeping, hydraulic... Act and solve engineering problem. Organize, coordinate, and supervise the activity of technicians and possibly subcontractors. Provide technical support to the teams and help them to improve their skills. Implementation of standard and process to ensure high life quality on site. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, clients, employees, contracted personnel, managers, and local government authorities. Follow-up of maintenance schedules via our digital management tools. Develop the FM business (Costing and offers) PROFIL: Experience in Facilities Management and business development. Engineering and global maintenance degree Strong public relations skills supported by excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills is necessary. Manage diverse groups of people and nationalities English fluent, Arabic, Hindi and French would be a great plus Excellent computers skills CONTRACT: Permanent contract - Starting date as soon as possible LOCATION: Position located in Muscat - Oman SALARY: Depending on experience and profile Newrest, a specialist in out-of-home food service, is the only major catering company active in all catering and related hospitality segments: airline catering, buy-on-board, duty-free on board, contract catering, remote site and support services, rail catering, airport and motorway retail concession.
