We are supporting a regional retail and solutions group in search of an experienced Operations Lead to oversee its professional audio division across the UAE and GCC. This role is ideal for a technically adept leader who thrives managing complex projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences in corporate, hospitality, retail, and entertainment spaces.
Role Overview
The focus is on end-to-end delivery of professional audio projects-from initial consultation and system design to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. The Operations Lead ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and operational standards. This is a hands-on role combining technical knowledge, project management, and client engagement, with the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the business.
What You'll Do
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring seamless execution across client sites.
Lead and coordinate technical teams, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth operations.
Conduct site surveys, design system solutions, and manage installation and testing processes.
Support pre-sales efforts by providing technical insight, solution recommendations, and feasibility assessments.
Develop and mentor the operations team, establishing best practices and standard operating procedures.
Maintain high-quality client and vendor relationships to drive repeat business and ensure satisfaction.
Implement post-installation support programs, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting protocols.
Ideal Profile
8-10 years' experience in professional audio, AV integration, or related technical project management roles.
Proven track record delivering complex B2B projects across commercial, hospitality, retail, or entertainment environments.
Deep understanding of audio systems (line arrays, DSPs, mixers, amplifiers) and system integration principles.
Strong project management skills with experience juggling multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Comfortable translating technical solutions for non-technical audiences and managing client expectations.
Engineering or equivalent technical background; business or management qualifications an advantage.
