Monitor assembly / installation schedule closely to ensure on-time delivery, react, and solve daily operational issues immediately.
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting assembly/installation, quality, cost, and delivery.
Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to assembly / installation staff.
Setting productivity goals for each team /section.
Developing process flow, such as value stream mapping (VSM), initial process improvement, and activities that improve efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
Determine the number of necessary resources, such as workforce and optimize the usage of raw materials, and ensure output meets the quality standards.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of the assembly / installation staff from time to time.
Ability to coach, train and motivate employees.
Managing the cost of assembly / installation includes justification of overtime, cycle time and manhours required, etc.
Experience in industrial 4.0, Lean Production System (LPS), and cost reduction activities with the proven historically successful project will be an added advantage.
Requirements and skills
Bachelors degree in manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position in the manufacturing environment.
Excellent leadership quality, strong team player, good communication and interpersonal skills, and can-do attitude.
Deep knowledge of production management.
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
