Job Description

Primarily responsible for the management of Operations Personnel Services, Workshops and Base facilities. The Operations Manager supervises all project related activities, ensures all project related work in the field and office is executed to the required standard and that results are provided to client on time. Establishes and enforces quality procedures and safety standards for all projects, and implementation of Company Management System within department.

Work with Department Co-ordinators and other Departments Managers for efficient execution of projects and co-ordinate activities between them and other Departments. Work with SLMs and Financial Controller for financial and administrative control of operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide input to tenders Commercial Department in association with the Project Managers and/or Business line. Implement the Company's QA and HSE Management Systems throughout the department. Delivery of trained, safe, efficient personnel and well to the business lines. Ensure equipment Planned Maintenance schedules are implemented and followed.

Ensure equipment/assets are accurately tracked between projects, stores and suppliers. Ensure projects are correctly resourced, equipment function tested, wet tested and calibrated prior to mobilisation onto a project site. Liaise with project managers and business line managers, to help ensure optimal utilisation of resources. Work as part of a team, assisting on large/multi-Opco projects as required. Review personal training needs of staff and develop training plans in association with HR Department. Complete personnel performance appraisals, training and developmental plans on an annual basis for direct reporting lines. Implement and enforce the adherence to Group and Company policies and procedures. Assist other Business lines with the selection and CAPEX of equipment. Managing operational staff, technical support personnel, workshops and warehouse activities in a way designed to ensure efficiency. Continuously reviewing the operational activities and identify improvement and development opportunities.

Experience -

Must have 3-8 years working experience Minimum 5 years experience in Survey industry Minimum 3 years Project Management Skills Strong understanding of Qatar Government processes
