Valiant Integrated Services is seeking an Operations Manager to. support USARCENT training and range operations services in Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The Operations Manager is an Army training SME with broad experiences in training, operations, and maintenance activities. The Operations Manager is accountable for all aspects of the contract execution and manages the hands- on, day-to-day execution of operational activities. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee all aspects of US Army Training program operations in a challenging overseas environment, including planning, implementation, and performance monitoring. * Collaborate with various stakeholders, including US Army personnel, local contractors, and government officials, to ensure efficient and effective program execution. * Ensure Contract deliverables are provided in a timely and accurate manner, including Daily, Monthly and Annual reports, OPSEC plans, maintenance plans, QAP's, inventories... * Lead on[1]the-ground training program administration, including resource allocation, logistics coordination, and risk management. * Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties to ensure smooth operations. * Maintain detailed and current records of all issuances, clearances and trainings conducted using forms and checklists. * Coordinate with internal departments to develop and implement budget and cost controls, and to determine and implement business strategies. * Develop and implement crisis management protocols and oversee their execution during emergencies. * Update and maintain SOPs to provide a clear and concise description of operational tasks, safety, and support and management requirements to include management of resources: equipment, personnel, facilities, and grounds. * Create and maintain current standardized Training Support Packages and delivery to the government for approval. Trend data and analysis for training demand and provide recommendations to the government. * Advise on support actions to enable continuous operations, including project priorities/scheduling; coordinating training and TDY's; and identifying and procuring software, hardware, office supplies, field supplies, vehicle and fuel requirements. * Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and procedures to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of the operations while ensuring compliance with US Government and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations. * Provide continuous (24/7) operational support for the Camp Buehring Range Operations Office to include administrative support and range personnel support. * TADDS Maintenance and lifecycle support, Range maintenance and repair services to include recommendation in range design, TSC Training and instruction. **Pending contract award** * Bachelor's Degree or substantial, demonstrated expertise in operational management, US Army training maintenance and operations programs. * A minimum of five (5) years' experience managing operations on overseas programs * A minimum of five (5) years' of supervisory experience responsible for operations management of up to 50 subordinate staff and intermittent contractors. * Experience working on large/complex DoD Government Contract or Army required. * Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance. * Effectively communicate with internal and external customers. * Able to clear an FBI background check. * Accept worldwide deployments which include austere locations. * Adhere to medical/dental requirements as well as CDC recommended immunizations for worldwide deployment. * Be able to travel on short notice, work non-standard hours and take on-call duty. * Possess a valid US Passport. Desired Qualifications: * Former U.S. Army Senior Leader (Master Sergeant / above or Major / above) with direct experience leading soldiers and utilizing US Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS) * Work Experience on US Army training programs as a Leader * Certified Inter-service Resident Range Safety Course (INTERMEDIATE) Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
