We are launching a new, high-end Lebanese restaurant and are seeking a dynamic and experienced operations in-charge to lead our pre-opening efforts and manage the restaurant's day-to-day operations. This is a unique opportunity to build a successful restaurant from the ground up and establish a strong market presence.
The Operations In-Charge will be the driving force behind the successful launch and ongoing management of our new Lebanese restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader with a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of restaurant operations, and a proven track record of increasing revenue and maintaining exceptional standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong focus on both guest satisfaction and business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize restaurant layout, menu, and service procedures.
Assist in the recruitment and training of the restaurant team (front of house and back of house).
Establish vendor relationships and supply chain for all food, beverage, and operational needs.
Ensure all necessary licenses and permits are in place, adhering to Dubai Municipality and Dubai Food Safety regulations.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Actively seek guest feedback and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain a positive reputation for the restaurant in the market.
Develop and manage the restaurant's operational budget.
Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability, including effective inventory management and waste reduction.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to develop and execute strategies to enhance revenue and achieve monthly sales targets.
Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the restaurant team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
Ensure strict adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards as mandated by Dubai Food Safety regulations.
Oversee all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Ensure the restaurant is compliant with all Dubai Municipality standards and regulations.
REQUIREMENT
Proven experience as an operations in-charge capacity or managing the Lebanese restaurant or a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within Dubai.
Demonstrated understanding of Lebanese cuisine and culture is a significant advantage.
The ideal personnel who can read, write and speak the Arabic language
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
In-depth knowledge of Dubai Food Safety rules and regulations, and Dubai Municipality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A "can-do" attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
