If so, Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) operations is looking for an experienced Operations Lead with a strong record of achieving results. We are looking to hire an Operations Lead (UAE) to join a team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, run 3P Store Operations and Delivery service partners (DSP) on last mile. You will ensure Amazon policies - including attendance tracking - are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This includes motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback of associates\' performance - including under the roof/on the road productivity, quality, and safety - as a means for achieving or exceeding Amazon expectations. Key job responsibilities
We\'re seeking a Team lead for our 3P Grocery operations. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing, on a daily basis, admin activities like rostering, time-motion analysis, maintaing the learning records, etc.
  • Support the team, through process simplification and data analysis, in meeting customer facing metrics
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates.
  • Deploy the Benchmarking processes which have been adapted for EU/IN to train ops executives and establish sustainable mechanism in UFG.
  • Use the PDCA methodology to drive small scale improvements in processes
  • Use the Kaizen methodology to drive large scale process improvements or reduction in costs.
  • Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement and process adherence.
  • Stand-in for Area Manager.
Shift flexibility required (morning and evening shifts)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time in UAE to analyze, implement, monitor best practice solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate complex processes and financial scenarios and do problem solving
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Grocery order fulfillment experience.
  • Practice in SQL coding is a Plus.
  • Resourceful to identify the way to get things done using limited resources.
  • Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment, whilst also being able to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to come out with solutions as per the situations faced.
