Job Description

Title: Operation Director Company: O BEACH DUBAI Location: Dubai Marina About Us: O Beach Ibiza started life as Ocean Beach Ibiza, opening its doors in 2012. O BEACH IBIZA has vision to create a \'daytime destination\' in the United Arab Emirates Dubai Marina being the perfect location for the venue. Position Overview: oversees the day-to-day activities and operations of the company, i.e. he/she is the head of all operations of a company and has a variable number of employees under him/her, although he/she is also accountable to other senior managers such as the CEO. Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic objectives. Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the company to ensure smooth progress.
  • Regularly assess the efficiency of business procedures in line with organizational objectives and implement improvements.
  • Manage purchasing processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Review financial information with management, financial team, technical director and adjust operating budgets to promote cost e\xef\xac\x80ectiveness.
  • Review and/or formulate policies and encourage their implementation. Monitoring relationships/arrangements with external partners/suppliers
  • Evaluate overall performance by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics. Ensuring that the company operates legally and in compliance with established regulations.
  • Produce and manage site organization charts, operational manuals, annual budgets, incentive plans and personnel protocols.
  • Attending control and financial meetings, creating and supervising action plans and budget items.
  • Drawing up operational agendas for each sales center, managing and supervising profit and loss accounts, inventories (control of minimum and maximum permited stocks), control and supervision of cleaning and maintenance of the centers, control, and management of the group department.
  • Cooperation in the elaboration of new seasonal gastronomic o\xef\xac\x80ers for special events and special festivities, supervising the price scandals, price policies, follow-up, and proposals.
  • Taking care of the corporate image and by sales center, managing and cooperating with the web
  • 2.0 and social networks and marketing department.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the di\xef\xac\x80erent business units, to favor a good positioning in the market to obtain the objectives set.
  • To direct and supervise the di\xef\xac\x80erent operating accounts, the actions necessary to meet the established objectives and obtain maximum profitability.
  • Establishing the strategy for the development of services, defining the means to be used.
  • Developing work protocols and procedures as a management model for services in the operations area (KPIs and monitoring).
  • Leading, managing and developing the team under your responsibility.
  • Favoring the relationship and coordination between departments for the good development of services.
  • Collaborate in search and negotiation strategies with suppliers that meet the required quality standards.
  • Supervision and follow-up of o\xef\xac\x80ers and budgets for important clients.
  • Develop systems and proposals for new business opportunities in active and/or potential projects.
Requirements:
  • Good level in the use of Office 365 tools Knowledge of legal rules and industry guidelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of various business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
  • Previous experience in hotel/facility operational departments. Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics. Working knowledge of business software, customer service, databases, and tools. Minimum experience desired.
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in business unit management.
  • Degree in business administration and management, economics or similar. Valuable: Master\'s/Postgraduate degree in tourism management, finance.
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
