Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations and customer service activities within the Sea Export department. The role involves preparing and reviewing freight quotations, converting business leads into confirmed bookings, maintaining strong client relationships, and supervising a small team to ensure
operational efficiency and timely service delivery. The position also focuses on developing long term customer relationships, providing technical shipping solutions, and preparing performance reports for management

The ideal candidate must have complete knowledge of Cross trade with minimum 5 years of exp in the industry which includes air land and sea.
Well spoken and technically very strong.

Key Responsibilities:
Pricing & Quotation Management:

Prepare and issue accurate freight quotations for sea export shipments based on customer inquiries. Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, and overseas agents to obtain competitive rates. Ensure pricing aligns with company margin targets and operational feasibility. Follow up on quotations to maximize conversion of leads into confirmed shipments.
Customer Relationship Management:

Proactively communicate with existing and potential customers to build and maintain strong business relationships. Understand customer requirements thoroughly and offer tailored shipping solutions. Promote value-added services to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Ensure high levels of responsiveness and service quality at all times.
Operations Execution:

Work closely with the operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed shipments. Communicate shipment details, rate agreements, and customer instructions clearly to all internal stakeholders. Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive status updates to clients.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:

Demonstrate sound knowledge of INCOTERMS, HS Codes, export documentation, and shipping line procedures. Stay updated on market rates, carrier relations, and export regulations. Support the team with technical expertise and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

Experience:

Sea export: 5 years (Required) land, sea and air industry: 6 years (Preferred) * Cross trade: 5 years (Preferred)
