Job Description

Role Description
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the labor camp, including accommodations, maintenance, and security.
  • Ensure that camp facilities are well-maintained, clean, and in good working order, addressing any repair or maintenance issues promptly
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to reduce absenteeism, including monitoring attendance, identifying and addressing root causes of absenteeism, implementing attendance policies, and disciplinary measures, and maintaining a clear goal of maintaining absenteeism at or below 5%.
  • Ensure live monitoring of the departure of the workforce fleet to confirm they depart on time and with a fully allocated workforce.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety of camp residents and property.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, health and safety regulations, and camp-specific policies.
  • Oversee room allocations, check-ins, and check-outs, and maintain accurate records of camp residents.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with camp residents to address their needs, concerns, and feedback.
  • Manage the camp\'s budget, controlling costs and resources efficiently.
  • Establish a system for receiving, addressing, and resolving worker complaints, ensuring a fair and respectful approach to worker grievances. Act as a mediator and facilitator in worker negotiations, ensuring fair and respectful discussions among workers and addressing concerns through collaborative problem-solving
  • Establish mechanisms to engage with workers, actively listening to their concerns, and taking steps to improve their experience and satisfaction, aiming to reduce the likelihood of cancellations due to dissatisfaction. ensuring that reasons for cancellation are thoroughly documented and communicated to relevant parties. Strive to avoid cancellations where possible by proactively addressing worker concerns and issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 Years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a labor camp with a successful track record.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and health and safety regulations, with an understanding of how they relate to attendance management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment, with a proactive approach to absenteeism reduction.
  • Fluent in English & Hindi (Writing, speaking & reading).
  • High level of computer proficiency
