Job Description

Efficio is growing rapidly, with the MENA region contributing hugely to this. With an established team in place and further ambitious growth plans, we are looking to hire a self-motivated Operations Associate (OA) to join the team. The OA will assist in the smooth running of the local operations and get involved in many aspects of the firm.

We are looking for a bright, proactive, and resourceful individual who enjoys working collaboratively across teams and making things happen. This is a very exciting time to join Efficio as we are set for further expansion and growth. This role requires a well-rounded operation professional interested in growing with the firm. You will have some work experience in operations, ideally in a multi-functional role within professional services. You will be creative, work on your own initiative and be adaptable and flexible regarding the varied work and opportunities involved.

This role provides excellent growth opportunities, with the potential to develop and specialise in other areas within the business at a future date.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations and office management:
Oversee the office space, supplies, and local communications.
Ensure all operational activities comply with industry and government regulations.
Play a leading role in preparing the office for our incoming employees.
Covering reception and front of house duties.
Office/building relationship management.
Liaise with IT and inventory management.
Organise events both externally (universities etc.) and internally (e.g., socials, dinners, end of month event) to ensure the Efficio culture and values are embodied.

Finance:
Manage corporate credit cards and receipts
Local operations budget management
Local support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Major supplier management
Corporate insurances management

HR & Recruitment support:
Support with onboarding of new joiners.
Coordinating monthly employee payroll.
Leading on local visa application processing.
Liaise with local insurance providers.

BD, Marketing & Sales:
Support the BD & Marketing team on significant events (eg CPO Dinner) or campaigns
Support the BD team on large-scale projects including data cleansing and ad hoc research projects
Support with local events and generally supporting marketing in promoting events
Essential Requirements
Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
Must have the right to work in the region.
Excellent knowledge of the local market and customs, and strong orientation of the local culture.
Strong academic background.
IT literate, proficiency with MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communicator with the ability to build solid professional relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
Ability to identify issues and proactively come up with solutions.
Strong multicultural awareness and willing to be part of an international team.
Desirable Requirements Prior experience in a professional services environment, with exposure to IT, HR, Recruitment and/or Finance.
