Applications are invited for the position of Operations Assistant

Primary focus is to assist the Production Planner to perform variety of production planning duties. Preparation of Master Production Schedule and to work closely with production team to ensure orders are processed and completed on time. Work within the planning parameters involving production processes, procedures, equipment capabilities and flow of materials in the facility ensuring supply of goods on time to customers.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in updating the master production schedule, monthly/daily reports and list of meals on priority.
Communicate the priorities and coordinate with Sourcing Solutions, Food Safety, NPD and Operations Team.
Assists in monitoring the demand requirement trend for finished meals correlate with the monthly forecast
Assists in capacity analysis of equipment and material requirement.
Provides other support to production and management for required reports
Assists in the analysis of sales/purchase order for non-airline business with respect to material, capacity and production planning requirements and update customer development team for the delivery date and status.
Monitor fluctuations of demand or low finished goods inventory and immediately highlight to the planner
Represents during absence of Production Planner
Coordinates with external departments e.g. Forecasting Team, EW/WW/Food Store Team.
Essential Requirements & Competencies
Diploma in Hotel/Catering Management or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of airline recipes and meal requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Advance MS Excel skills
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Good standards of verbal and written communication in English.
Experience in related fields such as Production Planning and/or Logistics or equivalent experience within a Manufacturing environment
Essential Requirements and Competencies
Should have completed a minimum of one year in the current department
Candidate should be free of any outstanding warnings or disciplinary
Candidate should be FC02 & Above
