: We are seeking an experienced Operations and Sales Supervisor to join our team at an International Freight Forwarding and Logistics company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing both operational and sales aspects of our logistics and transportation business, while leveraging their expertise in paperwork and documentation processes. Responsibilities: 1. Operations Management: - Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics and transportation operations. - Ensure efficient coordination of shipments, transportation routes, and delivery schedules. - Collaborate with various departments to optimize processes and streamline operations. - Monitor the handling of cargo, compliance with regulations, and adherence to safety standards. - Address operational challenges promptly to maintain smooth workflow. 2. Sales and Business Development: - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. - Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and revenue. - Participate in negotiations and contract discussions with clients and suppliers. 3. Paperwork and Documentation: - Utilize extensive experience in handling paperwork, documentation, and customs procedures. - Ensure accurate and timely completion of import/export documentation, including customs declarations. - Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date records. - Provide guidance to the team on paperwork-related matters. 4. Team Leadership and Collaboration: - Lead and motivate a team of operations and sales staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. - Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize cross-functional processes and ensure seamless operations. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. - Proven experience (3-5 years) in operations and sales roles within the logistics and transportation industry, preferably in Dubai, UAE. - In-depth knowledge of paperwork, documentation, and customs procedures in the region. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. - Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the logistics field.
