About the role

The Operational Lead is a key player in supporting the development and running of educational programs for schools in the UAE and abroad, focusing on delivering the agreed resources to facilitate the smooth running of the programme. Position will work closely with stakeholders, educators, and students. And provide basic support for the Activity Experience Manager in delivering operational elements of seasonal camp programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership:
  • Execute a comprehensive educational programme aligned with the Etihad Museum\'s mission and values.
  • Provide strong leadership to a team of 15 on-demand programme staff, including 1 team leader, offering clear guidance, mentorship, and performance expectations. You and your team must adhere to the BLR iRADAH Standards: WE Care, WE Take Ownership, WE Love What We Do, and WE Inspire.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to support the team in achieving programme objectives.
  • Be the main point of contact for daily client requests.
Training and Staff Management:
  • Reporting to the Excellence Manager and leading one team leader, 12 executive team members, oversee and work closely with the Activity Experience Manager.
  • Lead and oversee the training of executives for school programs, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-quality educational content.
  • Provide guidance and support to executive teams, fostering their professional development and enabling them to excel in their roles.
Visitor Experience Enhancement:
  • Ensure that the educational program delivers a memorable and engaging experience for school groups and young visitors and families.
  • Collaborate closely with the Excellence Manager and the program team to continually improve program content and activities based on visitor feedback and data-driven insights.
Resource Management:
  • Effectively manage program budgets, making efficient resource allocations to meet program goals and objectives.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
  • Foster and maintain partnerships with local schools, educational institutions, and community organisations to expand the reach and impact of the educational program by contacting schools regularly by phone/email.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of educational content delivery.
Data Collection and Reporting:
  • Prepare regular weekly reports and performance metrics to provide insights to museum management for informed decision-making.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Develop and enforce safety procedures to ensure the well-being of program participants and staff.
Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Education, Museum Studies, or a related field; a Master\'s degree is preferred.

Experience: Proven experience in working in museums, school management and tourist attractions operations, preferably within a museum or school setting.

Client Interaction: Proven experience in client interaction, including attending meetings, handling client requests, and maintaining high client satisfaction.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in program implementation and reporting to maintain the highest standards of quality.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor program staff.

Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software and technology for program development, management, and reporting.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing educational needs and program requirements.

Language: English and Arabic speaking and writing is preferred.

Location & Commitments
  • Full-time, Contracted.
  • Work 5 days a week (\xef\xac\x82exibility on days according to project needs), 9 hours a day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
  • At the client site, 90% and BLR Office, 10%.
  • Arabic speaker (preferred)
