Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To perform investigative and supporting functions in developing raw information into finished intelligence for decision-making, and to support flydubai's Security Risk Management Program by collecting and analyzing security data, utilizing OSINT tools, maintaining threat databases, and producing intelligence briefings, while promoting a culture of security in line with IATA SeMS principles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects data on daily global security events to support the development of knowledge and trends about the intentions, motivations, capabilities, plans, recruitment techniques, and leaders of criminal and terrorist organizations and individuals.
• Provides support during the entire process of producing actionable intelligence that forms the basis of the Security Risk Management Program.
• Monitors and reviews submitted security reports, analyzes results, and derives trends to present to management.
• Supports proactive monitoring and collection of publicly available information utilizing open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools.
• Monitors global events to analyze the intentions and capabilities of criminal organizations, state actors, and violent non-state actors.
• Assists in identifying threats that might impact civil aviation infrastructure, focusing on those affecting the airline's operations and assets.
• Maintains up-to-date databases and a deep understanding of threat dynamics and risk trends related to civil aviation operations.
• Assists with the production and dissemination of briefings, presentations, and documents related to aviation security risks.
• Reviews the accuracy, credibility, validity, and relevance of information sources.
• Assists in completing Security Risks Analysis to share documents with the highest levels of company management for informed operational decisions.
• Contributes to promoting and maintaining a culture of security at flydubai in line with the IATA Security Management Systems (SeMS) principles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)

• Fluent in English
• Basic Intelligence qualifications or equivalent Business analysis tools training
• Years with qualifications: 0 - 2 years
• Preferable - Certification or equivalent approval by the appropriate authority or Association e.g. IATA Aviation Security Certifications or Risk Assessment Certifications Security Management Systems (SeMS) Certification Basic Aviation Security Certification

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
