MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To perform revenue accounting activities related to ancillary revenue segment in liaison with vendors, operations and other internal support teams to ensure accurate & accounting, reconciliation and reporting of financial transactions, along with proper controls and process efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the accounting and reconciliation of inflight sales of buy on board items, ensuring complete, accurate and timely accounting of inflight revenue along with clearing of any data issues from system interfaces.
Conducts the financial reconciliation of inflight sales in the back-office system with the cash and card collections to ensure accuracy and prompt reporting and payment of float balance to crew.
Manages financial aspects in relation to inflight sales related to exchange rates, float reimbursement, refunds, card transactions and any other queries from customer services team.
Reviews the accounting interfaces and ensure the inflight accounting is in line with the accounting standards & ensure timely closing of revenue segment.
Serves as one point of contact for queries on inflight retail related processes and provides insights, recommendations & feedback to internal/external stakeholders.
Performs accounting of other ancillary revenue segments including checking compliance with the contractual terms.
Develops, revises and updates SOPs containing procedures and controls for Inflight and other ancillary revenue segments.
Reports and carries out the reconciliation of ancillary revenue segments including agreeing with the revenue partners on the settlement value for the billing period.
Assists the Team leader in integration, enhancement and automation of revenue streams to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting for meeting compliance and reporting requirement.
Coordinates with the team to provide enhancements and improvements to business process through changes to systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Fluent in English
Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting for an airline
Expertise in Microsoft Office and other reporting tools
Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
