Job Description

Office Manager Job Duties:
  • Manage the office in Dubai.
  • Evaluates, prioritises and launches all local initiatives in his/her domain in consultation with the wider group (India, Brussels…), monitors and controls their development process and actual implementation, in order to ensure that every initiative fits within the strategy and plans, is feasible, and adds value to the business.
  • Contribute to the compliance of all companies within the Middle East region with policies of the Engie Tractebel group (defines and monitors office policies and procedures).
  • Support the other Office Managers in region to ensure a common approach across the region.
  • Obtain, maintain and monitor the registration of TE Dubai and any branch offices.
  • Day to day management and operation of the office (cost management, resource allocation, visitors etc.)
  • Organising the team building and socialisation activities throughout the year.
  • Manage the documentation of the hard & soft copies for the original projects agreements.
  • Receiving calls and manage the reception.
  • Post office management.
  • Represent the organization in the government entities such as Etisalat, DEWA, etc. for office related issues.
  • Liaise with the H&S for office related issues.
  • Liaise with the building management for office related issues.
  • Prepare any required reports/Audit at BE&BU level.
Knowledge typically acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in personnel, public or business administration or related social science field.
