What you'll do
We require a Business Support Team Assistant and Receptionist with strong customer facing and administrative skills. This dual role will require extensive interaction with both internal and external clients so first-class interpersonal skills, high standards of presentation and a good level of articulation will be essential.
Reception & Office Support:
  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all internal and external guests, ensuring a positive front-of-house experience
  • Manage incoming calls in English with attentiveness and discretion
  • Authorize and manage visitor access to the office, including the setup of temporary Wi-Fi for guests and visiting colleagues
  • Receive and distribute deliveries, notifying relevant staff promptly
  • Prepare refreshments for meetings and ensure meeting rooms are cleared and reset after use
  • Manage the team calendar and meeting room bookings, ensuring efficient space utilization and accurate recording of staff whereabouts
  • Escalate complex booking issues or guest-related concerns to the Office Manager
  • Maintain and reorder office and catering supplies, ensuring availability and cost-efficiency
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for Corporate Services colleagues as needed
Business Support Team:
  • Provide proactive administrative support to Directors and Partners, including but not limited to:
  • Booking internal/external meetings and coordinating logistics
  • Printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, and filing documents
  • Process expenses and time entry using AlixPartners internal systems
  • Support invoice processing and timely payments in coordination with the Office Manager; file hard and soft copies accordingly

What you'll need
Background and qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar Receptionist, Administrative, or Executive Assistant role, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is beneficial but not essential
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other standard business software
