Job Title:

Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYNE) - UAE National

Location:

Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality obstetrics and gynecology care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients in accordance with medical best practices and Department of Health (DOH) regulations. The OB-GYNE will play a key role in women's health, fertility management, prenatal care, and gynecologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Medical Services

Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and medical histories. Provide consultations, medical care, and follow-up to patients related to reproductive and gynecological health. Perform and interpret ultrasounds, pap smears, colposcopies, and other diagnostic procedures. Manage prenatal, antenatal, postnatal, and fertility-related care.

Clinical Procedures & Surgeries

Perform gynecologic surgeries and minor operative procedures as needed. Assist with fertility treatments in coordination with IVF specialists if applicable. Handle emergency obstetric and gynecological situations competently.

Patient Education & Counseling

Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, and fertility treatment options. Provide empathetic support and clear communication regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical records in accordance with DOH regulations. Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information. Participate in audits, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Teamwork

Work closely with nurses, midwives, sonographers, and fellow physicians to deliver coordinated care. Attend regular medical staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Must be a

UAE National (Emirati)

with a valid

Family Book

. MBBS degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Certified preferred). Valid DOH (HAAD) License or Eligibility to Practice as an OB-GYNE in Abu Dhabi. Experience in fertility or reproductive medicine is a strong advantage. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered care.
