The FS Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality early years education to children aged 3-5 years, supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development according to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Teaching o Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans in line with EYFS standards. o Use play-based, interactive, and differentiated teaching strategies to cater to individual learning needs. o Prepare age-appropriate resources and learning materials to support lessons. Student Development o Observe, monitor, and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. o Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. o Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Classroom Management o Maintain a clean, organized, and positive classroom environment. o Encourage good behaviour and positive interactions among children. Parental Engagement o Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development. o Conduct parent-teacher meetings as required. Collaboration o Work closely with colleagues to plan activities, events, and themed learning weeks. o Participate in professional development to stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field. o Cache Level 3 or equivalent EYFS qualification preferred. o Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching FS1 or FS2. o Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework. o Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. o Empathetic, patient, and passionate about working with young children.
