An early learning centre in Dubai is looking to hire an experienced Nursery Manager.
: The Nursery and Preschool Manager provides academic leadership for the ELC. She is responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the educational program
- Reporting to the General Manager (Center Director)
- Ensuring the provision of academic leadership, strategic vision, and the quality of student experiences
- Support the aims and ethos of the Centre and perform duties with the mission statement and core values of ELC
- Set annual goals for the guiding children’s achievement across all development milestones
- Maintain and refine systems for tracking children’s progress
- Develop and maintain effective systems of programme planning, assessment, record keeping and reporting
- Support GM to ensure all health and safety related policies are practiced
- Work with governmental and partner agencies responsible for children’s health, educational and development needs
- Provide mentoring, coaching and professional development of staff to comply with regulatory standards
- Incorporate formal and informal staff observation and performance management
- General knowledge of UAE law in respect of Nursery Establishment, guidelines and policies of relevant education authorities (MOE, KHDA, FAEE and DHA)
- Assist GM in setting, implementing and reviewing policies for the nursery
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed, revised and updated
- Support GM to maintain necessary documents for all inspections are available consistently and to obtain external accreditation and evaluation
- Ensure that parents and children are well informed about curriculum, reporting regularly to parents on students’ academic and social development and ensuring all parents are aware of school’s procedures
- Develop and monitor KPI’s and ensure the programme meets its targets of high quality provision, reporting as required on progress
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Education (British Curriculum)
- Cache Level 5 or above
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood development principles
- Adequate knowledge of administrative aspects
- Knowledge of the curriculum, policies, and procedures
- Experience in working for an ELC in Dubai
- Strong English skills - Russian language is a plus
