Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Cleaner, preferably in a
nursery, school
, or
professional cleaning company
Familiarity with
health & safety standards
and
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ability to handle
cleaning machinery
and
chemicals safely
Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Understanding of
confidentiality
in a childcare setting
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all nursery surfaces, including furniture, flooring, and bedding
Maintain hygiene standards in bathrooms and kitchen areas
Monitor and record fridge temperatures as per guidelines
Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely
Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of all nursery facilities
Support the health and welfare of children and staff
Fulfill other reasonable cleaning duties as assigned
