Perform ear and body piercings in accordance with DHA regulations, company SOPs, and infection-control protocols.
Conduct pre-procedure assessments including medical history, allergy checks, and suitability of anatomy.
Obtain and document informed consent from clients (or guardians for minors) in compliance with DHA and company consent policies.
Provide personalized aftercare instructions and follow-up care.
Client Care & Rights
Ensure client dignity, privacy, safety, and rights are protected at all times.
Deliver care that is culturally sensitive and respectful of individual beliefs.
Educate clients on healing timelines, risk factors, and proper jewellery maintenance.
Infection Prevention & Safety
Adhere to sterilization and aseptic techniques in handling instruments and jewellery.
Maintain strict compliance with DHA and internal infection-control guidelines.
Report and document any adverse events or complications.
Clinical Documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential client medical/piercing records.
Document procedures, consent, jewellery used, and follow-up recommendations.
Teamwork & Training
Collaborate with jewellery consultants and reception staff to ensure seamless client service.
Participate in continuous education and training on updated piercing practices, infection control, and new jewellery lines.
Assist in mentoring junior staff or trainees under the supervision of the Clinical/Quality Manager.
