Job Description

We are looking to hire a School Nurse at Regent International School. This position performs administrative and professional nursing duties in the delivery of health care to the students of Regent School. Responsibilities include: Develop a plan for all aspects of student health and safety. Coordinate services with the school Doctor. Managing the Medical Centre and the School Nurse Monitor student health records and data, including immunizations, documentation of medication administrations, confidential documents Obtain & maintain health information for all children and staff. Collect and report data for statistical reports as required. Provide a health services report as required to the Principal, Operations Manager or the HSE Officer and keep him/her advised of any exceptional health matters that may arise. Assist in the prevention, identification, and management of the school community communicable disease control. Provision of direct healthcare to students and staff. Provide screening and referral for health conditions. Provide leadership for the provision of health services. Promote a healthy school environment Serve as a liaison between school personnel, family, community and health care providers. Prepare student documentation required for registrations with relevant government bodies and coordinate any outstanding documentation with relevant staff. Monitors and reviews immunization records for compliance to DHA and school policies. Provide health education directly to individual students, groups of students or classes. Assist with developing school policies regarding overall school health and safety. Any other duties as assigned by the Principal, Operations Manager or the HSE OfficerJob specification: o Qualified Nurse aged 25-45 yearso Must have valid DHA license. o Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.o Good communication skillso Basic MS Office knowledge for maintaining records and filing systemOnly applicants who have valid DHA license as Registered Nurse will be considered for the role.
