Role purpose
Networks are our key asset and enabler to better serve new and existing customers. Vodafone is a rapidly changing company that constantly invests in improving and optimising the networks. As part of this effort, we are looking for someone with a financial & planning mind-set to work within the Planning, Demand, Transform & Delivery, reporting to the Network Market Partner and ensure the budget market network investments and plans are efficiently submitted on time.
This role requires a candidate with business acumen and knowledge of the overall telecoms market, who is passionate about technology, and high experience in budget planning (capex & opex).
The candidate will support the preparation and approval of the annual DB/LRP and in-year plan changes across all Network functions. He/She will cooperate with the team in the prioritization of the budget plan to meet the financial envelope, ensuring all cross-domain dependencies are properly captured and priorities are validated against the Tech2025 Strategy and market demand.
The candidate will be responsible of managing the NSE budget planning, execution and reporting
Key accountabilities:
Drives the Capex plan consolidation and harmonization across all NW functions
Cooperate in the NW plan prioritization, providing scenarios to meet budget constraints. Cooperate within the team to execute submission to Finance
Drives the NSE department budget planning. All dependencies across NSE domains shall be captured cross-functionally in the budget build-up preparation. Plan submission, in-year budget tracking and re-prioritization support to be done considering both Vodafone strategy and Market Competition
Finance support during both opex/capex plan submission, and on any specific ad-hoc cost analysis/audit exercise
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Proven Planning experience
Financial acumen
Knowledge of E2E Network Architecture desirable
Stakeholder management
Proven experience on Executive reporting
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Engineering
Inter-functional relationships
High knowledge of Excel
Good to Excellent on both communication skills and executive presentation
Over 3 years' experience in Network planning or similar
English High Level
