Job Purpose

The key purpose of this role is to develop and deliver all non-technical training materials as required and to the agreed specification, quality, and standards. In conjunction with the Non-Technical Training Manager to plan, manage and organise personal time to ensure the required balance between training development and delivery is met including the required number of annual trainer delivery days as agreed with GP Strategies and our Client. Providing a lead role in the planning and delivery of VCT, IBT and TTT events. Acting as a lead consultant for non-technical training activities as and when required.

Principal Accountabilities * To act as a brand Ambassador for the Client and GP Strategies, always displaying, enthusiasm, knowledge, brand values and behaviours of both companies.

  • Taking a lead role in the planning and development of the new Client new model TTT events.
  • The development and local adaptation of the Clients global training materials and curriculum course materials as approved by GM ME to include any variations in content or languages as required.
  • Planning, development, coordination of in market TTT events to support development of in market global curriculum and vehicle launch activities
  • Coordinate, plan and deliver VCT and IBT sessions to the Client markets.
  • The delivery of approved Client ME Training materials in line with the dealer training needs requirements and Client training schedule as published.
  • To follow a process of continuous improvement in the development and delivery methodology of all training materials.
  • To make recommendation for innovation and the use of Technologies to improve the overall leaner experience and competence.
  • To develop cross functional knowledge and subject matter expertise as agreed with the Non-Technical Training Manager, in order that all required courses can be delivered by the team in times of colleague's absence.
  • To work with the local teams in markets, communicating regularly by email and telephone.
  • To prioritise and plan the timing of work to ensure that expectations are met.
  • To continually develop personal subject matter expertise, knowledge, and skills as required.
  • To ensure all required steps are planned and followed in a timely manner order to ensure personal availability to travel throughout all Client territories to deliver training as required.
  • To regularly communicate with the Non-Technical Training Manager to ensure work is planned effectively and that all GP Strategies and Client processes are adhered to, identifying any risks, and bringing those to the attention of the Non-Technical Training Manager as required.
  • To assist with the delivery of the Client Dealer Skills Competition.
  • To support and assist others in the team to ensure efficient workflow.
  • To actively engage in and promote a flexible, co-operative culture within the team and organisation.
  • To always adhere to all GP Strategies and Client policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills Required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic are essential
  • The ability to communicate effectively on all levels using technical and non-technicalcommunication
  • Must be able to work on own initiative with minimal line management input
  • Previous management experience (supervisory, people, planning, finance) is advantageous
  • Industry gained non-technical knowledge
  • Client Training and Development experience
  • Effective time management skills
  • Client non - technical training experience
  • Confident and effective group control and management skills.
  • Experience in working/liaising with international communities, desirable
  • Ability to plan and implement tasks effectively without supervision.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks within tight deadlines and adapt as required.
  • Ability to manage relationships up to a senior level.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Enthusiastic and Energetic.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: * Experience of training design and delivery to the required Client and GP Strategies standards
  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • Self-motivated, ability to work alone in a market, using resources available
  • Sets high standards and lives by them
  • Flexible, to support on market visits as required
  • Good team member with rest of Client organisation
  • Experienced Automotive Trainer of at least 5 years, with 5 years' workshop experience
  • Experienced in training design and delivery methodologies.
  • A keen interest in the automotive industry
  • Ability to present virtually and in the classroom.
