Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

NOC Engineer

to handle the coordination and of

No Objection Certificates (NOCs)

, permits, and clearances from various governmental and utility authorities. The role is critical to ensuring the timely execution of infrastructure projects by removing administrative and regulatory hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with local authorities, utility service providers, and government departments (e.g., Municipality, ADM, ADDC, AADC, DOT, Etisalat, DU, etc.) to obtain necessary NOCs and approvals. Manage the entire permit lifecycle, including online application, follow-up, submission of documents, and renewal if necessary. Prepare and submit required drawings, layouts, and technical documentation in coordination with the project team. Track the status of each NOC/permit and provide regular updates to the project team. Liaise with utility coordinators, consultants, and clients to resolve comments or rejections from authorities. Ensure that all NOCs and permits are obtained on time to prevent delays in construction activities. Maintain a well-organized database and log of all applications, approvals, and correspondences. Keep up to date with changes in local regulations, authority procedures, and permit requirements. Attend meetings with authorities or project stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE infrastructure or utilities sector. In-depth knowledge of NOC procedures for departments such as ADM, ADDC, AADC, DOT, Etisalat, DU, etc. Experience in using authority portals for online application submissions. Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
