Position Summary

We are seeking a

NOC Operator (Level 1)

to serve as the first line of monitoring and defense for our IT infrastructure. The role is responsible for

24x7 continuous monitoring

of systems, applications, and network environments, ensuring timely detection, acknowledgment, and escalation of incidents in line with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor IT systems, applications, and networks using dashboards, alerts, and logs Provide real-time acknowledgment of system alarms and alerts Perform initial incident triage following defined

SOPs and runbooks

Escalate unresolved incidents to

Shift Lead or L2 teams

as per escalation matrix Accurately log and update incidents in the

ITSM system

Maintain clear communication with internal teams during incidents Support continuous improvement of monitoring and incident-handling processes

Required Experience & Skills:

1-3 years

of experience in

IT Operations, Helpdesk, or NOC monitoring

Exposure to

enterprise monitoring tools

Experience working in a

24x7 shift-based environment

is preferred Basic understanding of

networking and server concepts

Troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-related issues Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Hands-on experience with

ticketing systems

and incident management workflows Familiarity with

ITSM tools

such as ServiceNow or BMC User account creation and management Password resets and access permissions Ability to diagnose and resolve

Windows OS and common enterprise application issues

Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills Ability to follow SOPs, document incidents accurately, and work under pressure

Preferred Certifications

ITIL v4 Foundation

(preferred)

CompTIA Network+

or

Microsoft AZ-900

(an advantage)
