Job Summary:

The NOC Engineer is responsible for coordinating with various governmental and semi-governmental departments to secure Non-Objection Certificates (NOCs) required for infrastructure and construction projects. This role involves managing documentation, preparing submissions, and ensuring timely approvals to prevent project delays.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, submit, and follow up on NOC applications with relevant authorities (e.g., RTA, DEWA, DM, Etisalat, DU, etc.). Coordinate with design and construction teams to gather the required technical documents and drawings for submission. Review drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with authority requirements. Maintain accurate records of all NOC applications, approvals, and rejections. Liaise with third parties and utility providers to resolve conflicts or requirements related to existing infrastructure. Monitor and update the project team on the status of NOC applications. Attend meetings with authorities and stakeholders to represent the project and resolve issues. Ensure all approvals are obtained before the commencement of any work on-site. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of authority regulations and submission procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with UAE authorities' NOC processes and online submission portals (e.g., Dubai's e-NOC system). Strong understanding of construction drawings and utility layouts. Excellent organizational and communication skills. UAE driving license may be required for site visits and authority meetings.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Strong coordination and negotiation skills. Ability to handle multiple NOC applications simultaneously. Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
