Job Summary:

The Night Incharge will be responsible for managing and supervising all supermarket operations during the night shift. The role ensures smooth functioning of the store, effective staff supervision, inventory control, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee overall supermarket operations during the night shift. Supervise night staff, assign tasks, and ensure productivity. Monitor stock replenishment, shelf arrangements, and price labeling. Check expiry dates, stock rotation (FIFO), and maintain product quality. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all departments. Handle cash closing, sales reconciliation, and prepare shift reports. Monitor store security and ensure safety of staff and assets during night hours. Attend and resolve customer issues/complaints promptly. Coordinate with Day Incharge/Store Manager for smooth handover of operations. Report incidents, damages, shortages, or irregularities to management.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supermarket/retail operations, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Good knowledge of stock handling, replenishment, and expiry control. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Flexible to work in night shifts.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma preferred. Prior supervisory experience in retail/supermarket is required.
